In the next months, there will be a Photo gallery worth considering.
Gallery hold during the “Bassano Fotografia” event named “Robert Capa Retrospective” – taking place from 16 September 2017 to 22 January 2018.

Organized from Chiara Casarin (director of the public museums of Bassano del Grappa) and Denis Curti (artistic director of the “Casa dei Tre Oci” in Venice).
The event will display 97 photos, all black and white, that Capa shot from 1936 to 1954 (the year when he passed away by stepping on a land mine).

Founder of “Magnum Photos” in the year 1947 together with Henri Cartier-Bresson, George Rodger, David “Chim” Seymour and William Vandivert, iconic person of the photojournalism of the last century, Robert Capa is considered “the greatest war photographer”.

“Cancelling the barriers between photographer and subject – explains the organizers -  Capa shots are tales of suffering, misery, chaos and war cruelties. The images displays five big world wars during the 20th century, all of which eye-witnessed by Capa himself.
