Peggy Guggenheim Collection

On Monday, May the 16th was inaugurated the Eighth Edition of Happy Spritz @ Guggenheim, an event organized in collaboration with Aperol, an old alcoholic drink that has its origins precisely in Bassano del Grappa.

From several years Aperol is the official sponsor of the Venice Peggy Guggenheim Collection, and this year, for the eighth times, has organized the event most awaited by professionals, students and art lovers.

The long-awaited event started on May 16 and sees his last appointment on June 26 at Palazzo Venier on the Grand Canal.

In 1948 Peggy's collection was exhibited at the Venice Biennale before the war. It was then that Peggy Guggenheim purchased Palazzo Venier dei Leoni, where he lived for 30 years, and now her museum.

Briefly, this is a unique opportunity to have a drink in the lagoon of Venice and listen to some good music with live muisc of several young dj in the Nasher sculpture garden surrounding not only from friends but also, and especially,  from the works of the great Picasso, Magritte, Kandinsky, Pollock and Warhol reliving the magical atmosphere of the Italian art scene of the 60s.
