Bassano del Grappa is an Italian small town in the province of Vicenza, in the heart of the Veneto region and, as the name implies, not far from the imposing Monte Grappa.
Vicenza area is famous in the worldwide for being the place from which the most talented Italian artisans come from: It is the place where Renzo Rosso, founder of Diesel brand, lives and has his company, is the place of Merlot and Cabernet wines, and the city where the majestic Old Bridge, also called Bridge of the Alpini, lies and during the First World War served as a link between Bassano and Vicenza.
During the Christmas period the city of Bassano del Grappa lights of many colors, and the main squares are invaded by the famous "Christmas Houses" where you can buy local products such as grappa Nardini and Poli , objects and decorations hand made with the famous Bassano ceramics and tasting the famous white asparagus POD.
